“TWOgether
Pittsburgh” is an exciting healthy marriage
project, serving the entire 5-county region
surrounding Pittsburgh. Family Guidance, Inc. is
heading up this coalition which includes The
Center for Urban
Biblical Ministry
(CUBM),
the
National Fatherhood
Initiative
(NFI),
The Women’s Center and Shelter of Pittsburgh,
project evaluator Dr. Stanley Denton, and marketing
consultant Smith Brothers Advertising.

We are partnering with
highly respected places of worship throughout the
local region in order to provide all of the
following programs to couples and individuals
interested in getting married or improving their
marriage relationship:

Marriage Enrichment, including parenting and
fatherhood skills development

Pre-Marriage Preparation
-
Divorce Prevention
-
Couple-to-Couple Mentoring
-
Education on marriage and family in high schools
-
A Public Awareness campaign regarding the
benefits of a healthy marriage
Note: These programs are open to eligible members of
the community regardless of faith, religious
affiliation or church membership.
The goal of these programs is to assist couples in
developing healthier relationships.
