Employment Opportunities

Take the first step toward making your organization
a stronger service provider.

Become a COMPASS fellow.
NO LEADER SHOULD BE WITHOUT A COMPASS!

The COMPASS Project has undertaken the task of equipping Pittsburgh-region non-profits for more effective service to our community.  COMPASS builds on Family Guidance’s long-standing commitment to helping to train others to make a difference.

This new, one-year program is designed to help non-profits and non-profit leaders to grow in powerful ways. Non-profits are always light on resources and can never get too much help in leadership development, which is so critical to their ability to thrive in all kinds of circumstances.  This project is open to 501©(3)s and also to other groups that provide services to our community.  Participation in COMPASS is competitive.

 COMPASS Fellows receive:

·         Top-flight training in leadership, organizational development,
       program development,
and community engagement,

·         Expert consultation from specialists in those fields,

·         The opportunity to apply for $10-25,000 capacity-building
       grants
,

·         Significant tuition breaks to go for a Master’s in Organizational
Development, undergrad degree completion, or consultation in
       website development, etc.

We now have completed all four workshops.
We are now engaged in the technical assistance phase.

May is the deadline for the mini-grant applications
for currently enrolled fellows.
