Introducing J.E. Gamble
Family Guidance is pleased to present to you J.E.
Gamble, our new Camp and Outreach
Director.
J.E. and his wife, Connie, have four
kids and live in Homewood. He is a Reverend and was
ordained as a pastor in 2005. He worships at
Bethesda Presbyterian Church and his favorite Bible
verse is Galatians 2:20 “I have
been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but
Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I
live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and
gave himself for me.”
 J.E.
is well acquainted with working with adolescents and
his extroverted nature is very appealing to
all ages. He has a heart for Jesus Christ and
the
“street smarts” necessary to work effectively with
our kids each and every day.
About 95% of our kids come from single-parent,
female-headed homes, and we know that J.E. will be a
strong male figure that our campers can look up to
and strive to emulate. J.E.’s favorite parable of
Jesus is the one about the wise and foolish builder,
Matt. 7:24-28.
Camping has been a life-transforming
“mountaintop experience” in the lives of so many
young people over the years, and we
trust God to do a great work once again this summer. |
