How do I measure up? What do other people think of me? Sometimes I don’t even like myself. What does it take to please God with my life? What’s the measuring stick for knowing where I stand with Him?
These are some of the questions our kids wrestle with. At Promise Camp this summer we’re going to meet those issues head on. Our theme this year is “Are You a 10?”
We are in full swing in preparations for our upcoming camping season. This technology saturated world keeps us rating and ranking people from how well they can sing or dance to what you think of someone’s personal relationships… The good news is, no matter how we have messed up, Jesus Christ redeems our zeros.
So this summer our camp kids will be learning about the value we each have as redeemed lives, founded on Jesus. So whether rock climbing, hiking, swimming or in Bible study, group discussions, talent night preparations or one-on-one discussions with counselors, or any other variety of activities that camp holds, our campers will be learning how to be come a “perfect 10.”
