Family Guidance, Inc. needs the support of many dedicated volunteers and
donors to succeed in our mission. In-kind gifts, memorial and honorary
donations, planned giving, sponsorship of summer campers, and
participation in our appeals and events provide the resources for us to
effectively serve at-risk families across our region.
We offer several convenient
ways to give a monetary gift:
-
If you would like to make a
one-time donation via debit or credit card, click
here.
-
If you would like the ease of regular
monthly giving via an automatic electronic deduction, click
here
to
print an ACH enrollment form. ACH is a convenient and secure way
to make regular contributions directly from the account you choose.
-
If you would like to send a check,
please send to the address at left.
-
You may have the
opportunity to double the value of your donation through
your company’s matching gift program. Please check with your
company’s human resource department to determine if they will
match your gift to Family Guidance. We are able to provide a
receipt for your gift that would accompany their required
donation form.
Your camp contribution helps underwrite the cost of the shelter,
food, activities, programming and one-on-one attention that makes it
possible to:
- Bring hope and a future to forgotten children
- Provide an unforgettable camping experience
- Build strong character
- Develop tomorrow’s leaders today
Most of our families cannot pay more than a small fraction of the cost
to attend one week of camp. We ask each family to provide a nominal
registration fee of $15, enough for them to feel “invested”, to have a
stake in their child’s experience at camp. But of course $15 doesn’t come
anywhere near the expenses we incur in offering kids this
life-transforming experience.
Will you provide a camp scholarship to help us reach 30% more kids this
summer? Your gift of $250 fully underwrites a child’s camping ministry
experience.
Through the United Way Contributor Choice Campaign, you may

Lend a Hand...
If you discover you have a few free moments during the week, we have a
great idea for how you can occupy that down time! Family Guidance is
looking for volunteers of all ages to provide ministry assistance. We are,
as always, looking for faithful servants who feel called to mentor an
at-risk child through our One-to-One, Y.E.S. or LAMP programs. In the
summer months, Promise Camp needs programming staff, cooks, counselors and
other helpers when camp is in session, as well as folks who are interested
in clean up, basic repairs and basic construction prior to campers’
arrival.
But, if God is calling you to serve in a different way, we’d be happy
to put your talents to good use behind the scenes. You may be a:
- a student
interested in developing an internship related to programming,
- a parent who can
provide consistent clerical assistance for a few hours each week
while the children are at school, or
- a retiree ready to
answer phones or make calls requesting donations from friends of
the ministry.
The staff at Family
Guidance would truly appreciate your help. Contact
Valerie Jackson at
